Abstract
From February to june 2006 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out an archaeological watching brief at The Loans, 19 wharf road, Shillingford, Oxfordshire, NGR SU 5945 9262. the work was commissioned by Laurie Kosobucki in advance of the construction of a new swimmimng pool at the rear of the property. The watching brief revealed thick soil horizons and a possible linear feature.
