Abstract
Between the 23rd and 26th October 2017 OA East carried out an archaeological watching brief on land south of Junction 3 of the AI139 (Fletton Parkway) in Hampton, Peterborough (TL 187 958). The monitoring was carried out on a 65m length of open-cut trenching terminating in a drill pit. The site sits immediately south of a Scheduled Monument, a Romano-British settlement south-east of Orton Longueville (SM PE 134, HA 1006833). Other than layers of modern made ground no archaeological remains or finds were observed during the watching brief.
