Abstract
Between the 18th and 19th January Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out a field evaluation at Grace Manor Nursing Home, Grange Road, Gillingham, Kent (NGR: TQ 7930 6847) on behalf of Grace Manor Care Ltd. The evaluation revealed an extension of walls from the earlier excavations in area A dating to the 15th and 16th centuries. Structural remains were however, limited to the south-eastern corner of the site. The
remaining area revealed a medieval ditch and post-medieval pits.
