Chastleton House Stables, Brewhouse & Kitchen Garden Archaeological Survey

The stable block, comprises a north wing wíth brewhouse and
domestic offices, and a west wing with stables and hayloft. Although possíbly built in two phases, the similarity of detailing ín both parts suggests that they are nearly contemporary. The north elevation overlooking the garden
and its gable end to the road were designed to have a domestic appearance,partly masking the internal dispositions. The cartshed may be the last remnant of the former barn.
