Abstract
The evaluation revealed a series of ditches interpreted as a hilltop enclosure which probably dates from the Late Iron Age / Early Roman period. Evidence was also recovered for what appears to be a pond or watercourse which ws reclaimed during the late second / early third century AD. Other linear features have been interpreted as field boundaries and a trackway.
