Abstract
Trial trenching on rhe above site revealed that the site had been badly disturbed by postmedieval quarrying associated with the construcrion of the Reading Road. Only two of the
nine trenches contained definite archaeological fèatures. These were located on the east and west sides of the all weather pitch and probably represent part of a system of fieid
boundaries.
