Abstract
Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out a field evaluation at land on the eastern side of Sutcliffe Park, Greenwich, on behalf of Berkeley Homes(Urban Living) Ltd as part of Phase 1 of the Kidbrooke Redevelopment. The area appears to have been previously stripped of its topsoil and subsequently leveled up with modern made-ground deposits. These are
deepest within the southwest corner of the site and gradually become shallower towards the east and north
Two features were found - a modern ditch beneath an existing bowling green and a shallow linear feature beneath an area formerly used as tennis courts. This feature remains undated but is thought to be associated with adjacent modern disturbances.
