Abstract
Planning permission was granted for residential development on this site, designed particularly as apartments for the elderly, with landscaping and car parking. The potential for medieval and post-medieval below-ground remains to survive was assessed at moderate in a dba undertaken in February 2011 by CgMS. during this latest phase, two of the three trenches excavated successfully deomonstrated the survival of medieval and later deposits and features.
