Watching Brief at Eight Ash Green Colchester Essex

In January and February 2010, OA East carried out an archaeological watching brief on land east and south of Eight Ash Green, Colchester, Essex (TL 95042 26208). The monitoring was carried out during the stripping of topsoil in advance of the laying of a water pipe between existing infrastructure at Argents Lane, Eight Ash Green and Tollgate, Colchester. No archaeological features or artefacts were revealed during the excavation.
