Abstract

Archaeological evidence from the Late Pre-Roman Iron Age to post-medieval periods was recorded during the course of the excavation. The majority of the features on site appeared to date to the medieval period (AD1066-AD1500). The evidence found during the investigations suggested that activity on the site climaxed during the 12th to 14th centuries.
