Between August and September 2012 Oxford Archaeology conducted a watching brief during the excavation of underpinning pits and new foundations for a new
senior library at St Mary's School, South Ascot, Berkshire (centred NGR: SU 9264 6690). The watching brief observed post-medieval worked soils and landscaping directly overlying the underlying natural geology. No significant archaeology was encountered.

Between November 2012 and May 2013 Oxford Archaeology conducted an archaeological watching brief during the construction of a new all-weather athletics
track and ancillary works at St Mary's School, Ascot, Berkshire (Centred at NGR:SU 924 669). The watching brief observed evidence of post-medieval cultivation,
probably relating to market gardening, together with 20th century landscaping. No evidence of activity prior to the 18th century was observed.
