Abstract
On 11th February 2014 Oxford Archaeology monitored the excavation of a 5m by
1.2m evaluation trench in the rear garden of 27 The Terrace, Barnes, Richmond
upon Thames. The trench was excavated to the top of the natural gravels, and
revealed only topsoil and a layer of alluvium. No archaeological features or deposits
were uncovered, and no finds recovered
