Abstract
The archaeological investigation of Stonyhurst College encompassed a 1.30sq km portion of the estate landholding, a smaller area of which is defined by English Heritage as the Registered Park and Garden. The area was split into separate character area blocks based upon either land-use or location around Stonyhurst college.
