Abstract
Medieval and post medieval artefacts were retrieved from an
emergency excavation in Turl St. Constraints on the
observation meant that it was not possible to determine
whether the material was redeposited or indicates
archaeological features in the line of what is understood to be a primary Saxon thoroughfare in Oxford
