Upper Court, Hardwick Business Park, Banbury Archaeological Evaluation Report

Oxford Archaeology was commissioned by Rushy Limited
to undertake a trial trench evaluation on the site of a
proposed housing development. The work comprised the
excavation of a single trench measuring 19m x 1.5m. No
archaeological feature or deposits were recorded within
the trench. Removal of a tarmac surface covering most of
the development area revealed significant levels of
truncation across the site, including a substantial drain and
several other services
