Abstract
An excavation of a lead-lined wood coffin, dated to the Roman period, containing a baby was found accidentally during construction work near Ermine Street, Arrington. The burial contained various goods including statuettes dating to AD 130-160.
Other Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval finds discovered around the Cambridgeshire area have highlighted the growth of archaeological interest in that region.
