Abstract
A watching brief was maintained while a water-pipe was being laid as a support pipeline for Chippenham park and the Fen river as part of the NRA's Lodes Granta Groundwater development scheme. Although the pipeline went through a known Bronze Age barrow field and a Post-Medieval estate, no archaeological features were observed apart from a linear feature adjacent to the Post-Medieval canal.
