Abstract
In February 2003 OA carried out an archaeological watching brief at Kennington Service Station, The Avenue, Kennington, Oxfordshire. The work was commissioned by Coleman Hicks Partnership in advance of the construction of fifteen self-contained flats. The watching brief revealed a shallow, post-medieval WNW - ESE aligned drainage ditch, but no indication of any earlier activity.
