Abstract

In September 1997, the Archaeological Field Unit of Cambridgeshire County Council conducted and archaeological evaluation on land at Whitefield and Uplands, Hinton Way, Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire (TL473/534). The work was commissioned by Lyster, Grillet and Harding on behalf of Solus Development Ltd.
No pre-nineteenth century archaeology was found in the twelve trenches excavated, and all the the features located are probably related to landscaping associated with the construction of Whitefield and Uplands.
