Abstract
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Oxford Archaeological Unit on behalf of the Duchy of Lancaster on land to the N of Higham Ferrers Northamptonshire SP 958693 in September 1993. A mid to late Bronze Age linear feature and pits, postholes & SFB of Anglo-Saxon date were revealed.
In October 1994 a watching brief on trial pit excavations revealed a ditch
