Abstract
Oxford archaeology (OA) carried out a field evaluation at Smith's Transport Yard, former Wantage Wharf, Wantage, Oxfordshire (NGR SU 43975 18825) on behalf of The Developemnt Planning Partnership Ltd. The evaluation didn't expose any archaeological features or deposits pre-dating the construction of the canal wharf in the early 1800's
