During October and November 1994, the Oxford Archaeological Unit conducted a wathing brief at St Christophers First School, Temple Cowley, Oxford during the levelling of the ground nad subsequent excavation of ground beam trenches for two new classrooms.
A possible 12th century ditch which may have been a boundary ditch associated with the medieval manor. A wall footing could be a continuation of the existing property boundary. sparodic rubble and roof tile associated with post-medieval hill wash suggest the possibility of a demolished medieval building nearby.
