Abstract

In June and August 2006 Oxford Archaeology (OA) xarried out a field evaluation in the rear garden of 94 Abingdon Road. Standlake, Oxfordshire (SP 3892 0297) on behalf of Mr Pavier. The evaluation revealed part of a late Iron Age ring ditch, measuring 2.45m in width and with a depth of 0.65m. Pits and post-holes associated with the ring ditch were also uncovered during the evaluation as well as a post-medieval ditch.
