Abstract
The evaluation indicated that signifacant below-ground remains are present at this site. These include a potential unmortared stone wall and an early pebble and clay surface. These features appear to predate the buildings depicted on the late 18- and 19th-century mapping, and, given the know hisory of the site, it is possible that they relate to late medieval or early post-medieval activity.
