Abstract

1998 evaluation
An evaluation & watching brief was carried out byt OAU on a strip of land east osf Oakwood hospital and west of Queen's Road, Maidstone, Kent on behalf of Berkeley Road Ltd. No significant archaeology was found.
2000 evaluation
The Oxford Archaeological Unit (OAU) carried out a field evaluation at St Andrew's House, Oakwood Hospital on behalf of Try Homes. The evaluation revealed extensive disturbance dating from the Victorian period but no further finds or features.
